About me
I’m Amy, the artist behind ACE Wildlife Art.
As a self-taught artist based in Hampshire, I specialise in pastel pencil portraits of British wildlife.
From a young age I loved to create art, but a lack of confidence in my early college years caused me to change paths and pursue my other passion of animal care and conservation. I consider myself very fortunate to have been working in my dream career of wildlife rehabber for the past 10 years. It has given me a unique perspective, allowing me to capture the true essence of the animals I choose to draw.
Driven by a commitment to conservation, I aim to share the inspiring stories of these animals—many of whom were once patients in my care—and bring their beauty to life on paper.
You can find some of their stories and the ways that we can all help conserve wildlife in the UK here.
